COVID-19 Coronavirus Response Measures

We know it's impossible to not be thinking about Coronavirus (COVID-19) and its potential impact on our community.  COVID-19 has all of us focused on the safety and health of our families, friends, and clients, but at the same time, the need for legal services will not wait for the COVID-19 situation to pass. Like many other businesses and organizations, we are implementing certain procedures and practices to minimize any potential impact of COVID-19 and we want to share information about our efforts to keep our community of co-workers, colleagues, clients and families safe. So, we are closely monitoring the rapidly changing data and facts associated with COVID-19 and the impact it is having both locally and around the world.  We want to assure you that we have a Business Continuity Plan in place to minimize any possible disruption to our ability to safely serve our clients. We are implementing the following measures immediately:

1) We will temporarily stop most in office appointments or meetings and instead conduct initial consultations, meetings, and conferences by video or telephone conferences.

2) We are also implementing procedures to complete most agreements or legal documents via email or regular mail.

3) For those legal matters that must be completed in person, we are working with our staff, colleagues, lenders, and other parties to implement procedures that will enable us to complete these matters, such as real estate closings or the execution of wills, in a timely manner while protecting all involved.*

4) We have prepared for our staff to work remotely which will allow us to maintain continuity in providing timely and effective service to you in the event of temporary office closure.

5) We are monitoring federal and state CDC websites for updated and relevant information that might require additional planning and changes to the delivery of our services.

Thank you for your trust and patience during this challenging time and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
